Berry!

Well ever since I was a little I always like to cook ( mostly desserts).  As I got older I started to  freak out over what I want to do for a living, so I started thinking that I should major in culinary. To make sure that I was making the right choice I wanted to go to an open house at The Art Institute Of Houston to check it out. And omg when I got there I was so excited I got my own named tag and when i got to the culinary floor they had a buffet of sweets and cheeses. I always thought you had to actually know stuff to go to this school but no they teach you everything  you need to know. So I’m finally not freaking out what I want to do with my life( which makes me extremely happy :D). So about the buffet there was a giant  reptile sculptor made out of white chocolate (unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of it ) oh and they had plain tarts with raspberries and blackberries(yum), my daddy ate a apple tart which sadly I didn’t try cause my sister (aka mija) told me to stop eating and ask questions, so I did. I ask one girl and found out that you really didn’t  need to know stuff  to be able to go to this school(which I told y’all already) and what kinda stuff they get in the starting kit,(Note: when you enter this school they give you a starting kit with tons of stuff) they get a knifes kit, a chefs coat, hat( which is awesome, I always wanted to wear a uniform) and some other kitchen utensil which is awesome.Oh and they have a summer camp for juniors and seniors, they even let yeah stay in the dorms so you can see how it is, hopefully I’m able to go.

GO GO DMC!!!

So my sister mija was looking at this movie about a guy who likes cuteys music but ends up being in a death metal band (called DMC which stands for Detroit metal city) and is actually really good at it so it becomes a big band. Its such a hilarious movie (its a anime and manga too). Its funny cause the way he looks as a rocker is not even close to how he looks in real life or acts. lol

You know when people call you a nerd all there saying is “hey you know stuff” what an insult. lol

Y’all may know about Comic-con(yeah!! but I couldn’t go T_T) So Tim  Burton was there and his imaginary friend aka Johnny Depp, omg I so wish I was there!  Anyway during comic-con they showed the Alice in Wonderland trailer, Johnny looks so cool I cant wait! Alice in Wonderland Trailer.

I was reading a manga and realize… I wish I lived in japan, to go to school in a cute uniform, to have a school festival, to be friends with the whole class, and hang out with them. The only thing close to a festival at my school is the dances but those are always lame. Last week my glasses broke so now I have to get new ones. Oh yeah on are  fugly monsters daily booth  we got are first follower (yeah!!) are monsters are going to have more followers then there owners. (T_T)

I got a new book yesterday even though I got four other books to read, anyway the book I got is called The Last Vampire by Christopher Pike, it has six books in all but I got the new release cover(called Thirst No.1) that has the first three book in one (cool right?), its about a girl name Alisa Perne and  I cant tell you much cause I just started reading it, all I know is that she is  a 5,000 year old vampire and shes being hunted down by someone so yeah, but so far I love it!<3

There is a new vampire movie in Korea called Thirst about a priest turning into a vampire and  falling in love with a human, looks interesting here’s the trailer and movie poster.

Did you know that Odontophobia means the fear of teeth?

So Kim and I were bored so we made a weird monster kind of thingy, I like mine its like a rabbit but … not yeah anyway for the mouth it has a zipper if you unzip it you can put your ipod in it, cool right at first it was a rag doll but my daddy said that we should have made it an ipod case thingy so we did (aka kim did lol). Again bored so we made cupcakes (yum :9).

So (I’m a manga and anime freak just to warn you) I was on the Vampire knight web site and they put up a fortune teller its simple all you have to do is pick a card and one of the characters is on it ( I think its cute). I got Kaname first but forgot to save it, I like Zero better anyway, I wish real people were this hot o(>_<)o lol

Bleh I’m bored. The only reason I did this was because Kim bribed me with songs. >_<

So my family and I (excluding my dad) we were going to see “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN” but was sold out.  My mom decided “lets go to Pearland and see if it showing  there”, by the time we arrived we were starving so we ate at T.G.I. Friday’s, I got the Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Pasta it was good but later I got kind of sick.  Later that day we went to half price books and I got a book for two bucks (what a bargain :3 ), the book I got was “Owl in Love” by Patrice Kindl a cute story about a fourteen year old girl who is in love with a guy twenty six years older then her and is her teacher( if you do the math he’s forty), now don’t judge I know what your thinking  eww she likes a forty year old, I’m only on page 40 so I can on tell you about what I read so far. There is a reason why her name is Owl if you are thinking what I’m thinking then yes you are right she is a owl or a shape shifter to be more exact shes not like a vampire or a werewolf  she can change into a owl anytime she wants but  she cant eat human food or she will turn into a human, what does she eat? Well what do owls eat, rats, bug and other stuff (gross right?)  and her blood is black, so she has to be careful not to get cut in public. If you know anything about Owls then you know that they can only fall in love once in there life and they will love that one until he or she dies but I guess that doesn’t explain why she loves her teacher, love works in weird ways. When I’m done I’ll give you a review or you can read it yourself. In the end we didn’t go see Transformers so we went to Pearland for nothing… anyway what books have y’all read recently?

So school ended  two weeks ago,  so all I have been doing is sleeping late and sleeping in ( yes I’m living the life lol). On the last day of school I got to spend two hours with the guy I like <3.  The last day was fun and easy besides talking to “him”,  all I had to do all day was talk and sleep for 4 hours. Anyway I stayed at Mija’s for a week,  Mija won tickets to the pre-release screening of AWAY WE GO, it was so good after the movie I felt so happy it was such a cute movie. Anyway the next day my mom and  kim came to Houston and we went to go eat at panda express it was actually really good ( now I want Chinese food:3) after we ate yogurt at Berry pop it had a weird taste but it was good, I had granola, kiwi and strawberries on mine.

Today is fathers day so we bought our dad a 50 dollar gift card for Academy, all of his favorite candy and a pretty card.

“Plies and plies of tissues covered every inch of my bed…. I hate being sick.”

I had my whole weekend plan out, Friday go to a party with Julia, then to relax on Saturday and on Sunday to have my Birthday party but had to get sick. It all started on Tuesday, I woke up with a sore throat I thought I was just allergies so I took my allergy meds and went to school. The next day I woke up and felt like hell, I didn’t want to do anything but I had to go to school so I did by 3rd period I couldn’t stand it I had to go home I went to the nurse and found out I had a 102 fever(guess what I went home!!). I miss the rest of the week (about 3 days) went to the doctor on Thursday and found out I have a nose infection (oh great). so yeah I spent my weekend blowing my nose and sleeping ( not very good either).

So finally I’m at school well when I was absent exemptions were due last week so I had to fine out if I could still use them. Running up and down stairs trying to find if there not void I found Ms.Beastly ( not really her name:P) she said I can use them but I have to get them sign now (and Its after school, most of the teachers have gone home) so I check to see if my math teacher was there and of course he wasn’t ( and yea I could of exempt math, for the first time!) there so I had to exempt English cause there wasn’t anyone else still there. : (

So today since we passed TAKS we get a party which was stupid, they don’t know what fun is if it bit them in the butt. They had root beer floats and popcorn and that’s it, the other schools get a barbecue. The only thing that I like is that I won a bag of peanut M&Ms(yum)in the cake walk and Julia won a box of cookies that suck. The weird thing is that the number I was standing on in the beginning was my birthday date and the number I ended up on was 29, then when it was Julias turn she was standing on her birthday date and ended on 29 and won (isn’t that cool). So yeah my mom and I went to Carino’s for my birthday and ate together I got a apple something for desert (yum).

OK there is a guy I like in my orchestra class but hes a freshman and my friend Julia and I both like him. You might think me and her are going to fight over him but no( to avoid so I let her have him I cant go after a younger guy any or so I thought (this is before he actually knew I existed so that’s why I let her go for him, if you were wondering why I let her go after him even though I told her I liked him first… I don’t know why) anyway she gave up on him a couple of weeks later (why? Shes still in love with her ex so she doesn’t want to date anyone). So any way she let me go after him, so today I got his number!! I text-ed him like three times today still no answer. (T_T) I’m so impatient oh yeah my birthday was on the 26 so my sisters got me presents:

It Easter!!!( it was Easter) finally I can drink soda (I bet y’all are wondering why I haven’t drank any soda since when ever, its was for lent a religious thing,to lazy to explain it) and my sisters can have there sweets lol. My mom surprise us with chocolate pudding with Oreo and whipped cream in it, a chocolate cake and a white cake with strawberries on top yum:9. Before all that, I forgot I had to go to Church with my family and ended up staying up late (really late  like 4:00 late) so I only got a little bit of sleep, but when I got home I past out and slept until the food was ready (we had delicious brisket if you wondering). Then I started  making Cascarones (Easter eggs) the dye I had wasn’t bold enough so the eggs didn’t come out the way I wanted there going to be broken anyway so I didn’t care.

So I was forced to clean my room today and so I started cleaning my closet (that took 3 hours) and  in the end I didn’t clean my room just my closet, So I’ll clean it later(or never:D). Last Friday I  went to my friends band concert at Hot Topic their called “Dying Breed”( I think?) away they were awesome I couldn’t hear the singer though but I like how the drummer sounded, It was fun I went with my friend Julia <3. I made my first wall paper some time ago tell me what you think. (^_^)

Who said life was fair- unknown

I talk and walk with my friends trying to not think of it, but I still felt the burning hole in my pocket with the note that ruin my Friday. It all started when, I was in keyboarding I was given a note that said “Congratulations you were nominated (by someone) to be in  PALS, and who get there application early hope you decide to become a PAL”. I was so thrilled, cause my sister mija was a PAL. So I applied and passed the first round. Then I had to do a interview with them I was so nervous, in the end I knew I did bad but at least I tried, or so I thought. I didn’t think it was going to hurt  if  I was rejected. Yes they rejected me I found out today that I wont be a PAL.(T_T)  At first I was fine until I read the rest of the letter they send me it said…

“Thank you for applying and interviewing for the PALS program. We were delighted to have so many great students like you to have who want to help other kids and are willing to give their time and energy to our program. We had many more candidates than we can accept at this time, and we are sorry to inform you that you were not among those chosen by our committee to be a PAL next year.”

Now if you read in between the lines you would have read this…

“Thank you for trying to join but your not good enough. You can try again next year if you can make it “

OK I know I’m over exaggerating but that’s the impression they gave me, at the end of the letter they talk about other programs that are something like PALS but not. I didnt’ want to be one anyway there weird and… stuff (I bet y’all are thinking “Kat you wanted to be one of those weirdos”). shut up… so.  Anyway I was trying not to look depress but in the end I made my friend Julia worry about me. I couldn’t tell her at school I would had started crying .(Yeah I’m that weak)
