“Who said an adventure can’t be 52 minutes away?”
So my family and I (excluding my dad) we were going to see “TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN” but was sold out. My mom decided “lets go to Pearland and see if it showing there”, by the time we arrived we were starving so we ate at T.G.I. Friday’s, I got the Transformers

So school ended two weeks ago, so all I have been doing is sleeping late and sleeping in ( yes I’m living the life lol). On the last day of school I got to spend two hours with the guy I like <3. The last day was fun and easy besides talking to “him”, all I had to do all day was talk and sleep for 4 hours. Anyway I stayed at Mija’s for a week, Mija won tickets to the pre-release screening of AWAY WE GO, it was so good after the movie I felt so happy it was such a cute movie. 
Anyway the next day my mom and kim came to Houston and we went to go eat at panda express it was actually really good ( now I want Chinese food:3) after we ate yogurt at Berry pop it had a weird taste but it was good, I had granola, kiwi and strawberries on mine.
Today is fathers day so we bought our dad a 50 dollar gift card for Academy, all of his favorite candy and a pretty card.

“Plies and plies of tissues covered every inch of my bed…. I hate being sick.”
I had my whole weekend plan out, Friday go to a party with Julia, then to relax on Saturday and on Sunday to have my Birthday party but had to get sick. It all started on Tuesday, I woke up with a sore throat I thought I was just allergies so I took my allergy meds and went to school. The next day I woke up and felt like hell, I didn’t want to do anything but I had to go to school so I did by 3rd period I couldn’t stand it I had to go home I went to the nurse and found out I had a 102 fever(guess what I went home!!). I miss the rest of the week (about 3 days) went to the doctor on Thursday and found out I have a nose infection (oh great). so yeah I spent my weekend blowing my nose and sleeping ( not very good either).
So finally I’m at school well when I was absent exemptions were due last week so I had to fine out if I could still use them. Running up and down stairs trying to find if there not void I found Ms.Beastly ( not really her name:P) she said I can use them but I have to get them sign now (and Its after school, most of the teachers have gone home) so I check to see if my math teacher was there and of course he wasn’t ( and yea I could of exempt math, for the first time!) there so I had to exempt English cause there wasn’t anyone else still there. : (
So today since we passed TAKS we get a party which was stupid, they don’t know what fun is if it bit them in the butt. They had root beer floats and popcorn and that’s it, the other schools get a barbecue. The only thing that I like is that I won a bag of peanut M&Ms(yum)in the cake walk and Julia won a box of cookies that suck. The weird thing is that the number I was standing on in the beginning was my birthday date and the number I ended up on was 29, then when it was Julias turn she was standing on her birthday date and ended on 29 and won (isn’t that cool). So yeah my mom and I went to Carino’s for my birthday and ate together I got a apple something for desert (yum).
OK there is a guy I like in my orchestra class but hes a freshman and my friend Julia and I both like him. You might think me and her are going to fight over him but no( to avoid so I let her have him I cant go after a younger guy any or so I thought (this is before he actually knew I existed so that’s why I let her go for him, if you were wondering why I let her go after him even though I told her I liked him first… I don’t know why) anyway she gave up on him a couple of weeks later (why? Shes still in love with her ex so she doesn’t want to date anyone). So any way she let me go after him, so today I got his number!! I text-ed him like three times today still no answer. (T_T) I’m so impatient oh yeah my birthday was on the 26 so my sisters got me presents:

It Easter!!!( it was Easter) finally I can drink soda (I bet y’all are wondering why I haven’t drank any soda since when ever, its was for lent a religious thing,to lazy to explain it) and my sisters can have there sweets lol. My mom surprise us with chocolate pudding with Oreo and whipped cream in it, a chocolate cake and a white cake with strawberries on top yum:9. Before all that, I forgot I had to go to Church with my family and ended up staying up late (really late like 4:00 late) so I only got a little bit of sleep, but when I got home I past out and slept until the food was ready (we had delicious brisket if you wondering). Then I started making Cascarones (Easter eggs) the dye I had wasn’t bold enough so the eggs didn’t come out the way I wanted there going to be broken anyway so I didn’t care.
So I was forced to clean my room today and so I started cleaning my closet (that took 3 hours) and in the end I didn’t clean my room just my closet, So I’ll clean it later(or never:D). Last Friday I went to my friends band concert at Hot Topic their called “Dying Breed”( I think?) away they were awesome I couldn’t hear the singer though but I like how the drummer sounded, It was fun I went with my friend Julia <3. I made my first wall paper some time ago tell me what you think. (^_^)

Who said life was fair- unknown
I talk and walk with my friends trying to not think of it, but I still felt the burning hole in my pocket with the note that ruin my Friday. It all started when, I was in keyboarding I was given a note that said “Congratulations you were nominated (by someone) to be in PALS, and who get there application early hope you decide to become a PAL”. I was so thrilled, cause my sister mija was a PAL. So I applied and passed the first round. Then I had to do a interview with them I was so nervous, in the end I knew I did bad but at least I tried, or so I thought. I didn’t think it was going to hurt if I was rejected. Yes they rejected me I found out today that I wont be a PAL.(T_T) At first I was fine until I read the rest of the letter they send me it said…
“Thank you for applying and interviewing for the PALS program. We were delighted to have so many great students like you to have who want to help other kids and are willing to give their time and energy to our program. We had many more candidates than we can accept at this time, and we are sorry to inform you that you were not among those chosen by our committee to be a PAL next year.”
Now if you read in between the lines you would have read this…
“Thank you for trying to join but your not good enough. You can try again next year if you can make it “
OK I know I’m over exaggerating but that’s the impression they gave me, at the end of the letter they talk about other programs that are something like PALS but not. I didnt’ want to be one anyway there weird and… stuff (I bet y’all are thinking “Kat you wanted to be one of those weirdos”). shut up… so. Anyway I was trying not to look depress but in the end I made my friend Julia worry about me. I couldn’t tell her at school I would had started crying .(Yeah I’m that weak)

Sunday we (my sister and I) left for Houston for spring break. So on Monday we went to the grocery store to buy food to last the week, I never notice that we were so spoil when it comes to food usually if we ask for something we get it (food wise). But with my sister we have to save money so we could only buy the necessities(It was so hard to choose what to eat). To next day we went to the mall and went to the hello kitty store (my mommy gave us 20 dollar each so…just imagine three kids in a candy store :P). After deciding what to get I end up getting a bento bag and a silverware that matches, (the cutest animals were on it! ) and I bought a book the sequel to the house of night series: Betrayed by P.C. Cast + Kristin Cast. I’m happy with everything I bought, I’m trying to get a matching bento online cause my sisters and I are matching freaks :p, but the bento bag I have doesn’t match the silverware at least there the same cute character.
On Thursday I got to eat Japanese food for the first time! Mija ordered 6 California rolls(I ‘m not a fan of sushi but I still ate one without spiting it out) and I got pork in teriyaki sauce with white rice and vegetables on the side(was so delicious!), Kim and Mija got the same thing but with chicken and beef. Now we’re finally back home,(sorry Mija I miss my bed lol) my mommy got a lappy so now were a laptop family!( but my daddy still doesn’t know about mine yet so I have to keep hiding it)
Today in English we had to go outside and write what we saw, (it was so windy I don’t know how many times I had to chase down my paper :P). So, I sat down by a small tree and looked up at the sky. (It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep).
Anyway in Science we have to write an essay about magnets, so exciting…not (>_<) A week has past since then. Guess what my mom bought me… (drum roll please) a laptop! Awesome isn’t? I can’t believe that I have my own laptop. o(^_^)o (But of course there has to be a catch) First of all, I have to keep getting good grades. (that’s understandable) Secondly, I have to keep my room clean (if you know me that’s a really big change! I’m a really messy when it comes to my room :P) AND last of all, I have to keep it a secret from my dad. (so I have to stay alert most of the time) - easy right? Wrong!! I almost got it taken away because of my room (I have to stop throwing my clothes on the floor) Look, doesnt it look cute? Its even looks better in my room! (My room looks cooler in the dark lol )
Anyway, on Valentines Day (since I don’t have a stupid guy to be my slave) I went to the movies with my sisters and one of my sister’s friend to see Coraline. (one of the best children books I’ve ever read) It was a great movie (as expected from the director of “The Nightmare Before Christmas”). My favorite part of the movie is the other father’s song (so cute). Oh, before I forget, remember the book I told you about last time. “Must Love Black” I finish it some time ago, so now I can give you a decent review on it. I bet you’re wondering what it’s about, Philippa (the main character) gets a job taking care of two goth twins (which is a good thing cause shes goth too) over the summer at a mansion, other than getting a good pay, she meets the hot gardener Geoff sadly, he is taken by girl whose wardrobe is head to toe pink. Still, Philippa can’t get Geoff out of her head. So, find out how she will get him to look at her as a girl not as a nanny. The end is alright, to me it doesn’t seem finished. See you next time.

This weekend my mom, sister and I went to stay at mija’s apartment. We ate at Andre ( the same place where mija and I got our pastrey).We all ate sandwiches, (which were delicious :9) I ate a ham and cheese sandwich with a salad and a slice of fruit. (now I’m making me hungry)Anyway then we went two Borders, one Book stop,and one Barnes&Nobles.(I only bought one thing out of five stores:P) The lucky Item was a book called “Must Love Black” by Kelly McCLYMER cant give a good review on It yet (just started reading it) but after I’m done reading it I’ll post about it. Oh got a new IPOD case (since the old Ipod nanos are obsolete, we have to stock up on cases)
The next day we went to the galleria we enter the Disney store and I end up getting one of the sleeping beauty dolls I always wanted (to make story short I like sleeping beauty) and I got a little bento lunch box of her.So that was my weekend, see you next time!

It all started Friday the 19th, where I saw DIO and Sugar, then Christmas came and went in a flash. I stayed at mija’s place for a week( actually two days) we went to borders and I bought a book called “school”,the next day we went to a little bakery called Andre. mija got a pastry called River Oaks and I got Chateaubriand .
Friday my mom, my sister and I went to Houston to go to an anime convention (we went for the j-rock not the anime) two really big bands were there Sugar and Dio, they were awesome! I still can’t believe that I meet them and molested Mikaru~singer of Dio (long story not really, he dived in to the crowed and not to sound like a fan girl… I touched he’s nipple, bicep and stomach!), He looked happy so I guess It was ok. As for Sugar they are so pretty I got there autograph and went to the Q&A (same with DIO, no picture thought T_T) Loki~ the singer of Sugar was missing he was in costume and everything for the autograph session( they said they knew where he was but I think that was a lie) but Sizna~the guitarist for Sugar sign for him (he was all “bad Loki ” and put a sad frown on the poster it made me laugh, but still wonder where was Loki?)In the end we got to see Sugar and Dio live (and see mikaru shirtless!),get both there autograph(except Loki’s T-T)and we dress up for them.
oh and after the concert we found Sizna ~ the guitarist for Sugar and Erina the guitarist for Dio picks.
Now back to reality,finals are coming (yeah I know I was suppose to take my finals before Christmas vacation but no, when I get back we only have one week to study! My school sucks!)
